When charged with propane this lite cyclinder leaks propane around the brass shut-off valve base where there appears to be a black rubber seal.
What happened: After going to a local propane provider and having the new cyclinder filled, I drove it home in my SUV - I thought I smelled gas (mercaptan odor). I thought it wasn't real, and I placed the cylinder in my garage. After returning from dinner I smelled gas in the garage. I opened the doors and aired out the garage. Then I flame tested the cyclinder in the back yard and it ignited immediately. I put the flame out with water.
I was planning on placing this cylinder into the basement of my diesel pusher RV for use with my Camco grill that I also purchased from Amazon. This might have caused harm to my family; even our very lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After learning what happened, Amazon took action!
Amazon contacted me via e and reimbursed the purchase. They offered a credit to cover the propane via telephone. And they offered that this experience will be puzzled into their response system (AI?) to offer better customer service. I must say that Amazon handled this issue with aplomb.

The Lite Cylinder propane tank is a great option for your grill. I have been using one for about half the summer. It has been easy to use, a perfect fit for me.

The good:
The light weight means it is easier to move around. I have an extra small grill with wheels on one side, it is easier to lift and move the entire grill around as well.
You can see how much gas you have in the tank. You may need to slightly tilt the tank to see it easily (or really just bump it a little to get the liquid in the tank to move a bit). No more running out of gas!
No rust problems.

Could cause issues for some:
The collar around the valve is higher/narrower than on a standard steel tank. This was no problem for me, my connector is attached to the grill with a hose so I could position the connector with the hose going up. But if you have a fixed un-flexible connection you may have problems.
The tank comes empty (as expected) so you will need to fill it before using it the first time. You will need an actual service station that sells propane (or U-Hall or other seller of propane) to fill it, the cylinder exchanges at the market will not work. You may want to google-maps around and make sure you have one handy before purchasing this (or any other) cylinder online.
The bottom of the tank doesn't have the tall ring you find on a steel cylinder. This was not a problem for me. But some grills I have seen use the ring to attach the cylinder to the grill. The cylinder is stable just sitting. But if your application depends on the ring, you may want to look carefully before buying.

None of the above issues were a problem for me. The Lite Cylinder is great, has many advantages over a steel tank, and I recommend it.

I bought the Lite Cylinder because I was facing a hip replacement and wanted a lighter tank, live in a marine environment and had seen the ravages of rust and aluminum oxidation and liked the concept that I would have a visual on fuel level in the tank. All solid hits. Why a 4 and not a 5? I thought the finish of the materials and workmanship could have been a little better for a $100 item. But I recommend the item highly.
